Latter Days

By Ben Beckley. Directed by Jess Chayes.

2/13 - 3/11 2017 at Theater 511. An Ars Nova Fling.

Set beneath the streets of some godforsaken metropolis, in a forgotten basement, a self-described King and his long-suffering servant have waited eleven years for the day the world will end.  Now, at last, the apocalypse is at hand.  And when the time comes, nothing will be the same. Dutch Kills Theater was thrilled to present this world premiere as part of the DKDUO with The Providence of Neighboring Bodies by Jean Ann Douglass.

This clever two-hander is an inventive take on the apocalyptic genre, a commentary on every religion that involves an End of Days and a reflection on our current political situation, all in one ... utterly gripping... mesmerizing ... an immensely talented and committed pair of performers.
