Peregrinations is a wordless work of masked physical theatre and puppetry with original music, exploring displacement and the immigration crisis in the West. Created from interviews and the lived experiences of an international ensemble, the piece uses masks, puppets and poetic movement to follow journeys across borders, through exile, and toward the search for belonging, asking why so many barriers are placed in the way. As hostility toward immigrants intensifies, this visually arresting performance moves beyond the headlines to reveal deeply human stories of courage, loss and resilience. Urgent and intimate, it invites audiences to reflect on migration, memory and compassion in a nation shaped by arrivals.
